Treatment Secretary at SiS Youth Home Nereby
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. With us at SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work in our organization or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.
SiS Youth Home Nereby operates in Harestad and Bergsjön. We conduct differentiated and high-quality school, care, and treatment work. The operations involve a variety of professions, such as teachers, treatment pedagogues, psychologists, nurses, and more. SiS Youth Home Nereby accepts both school-age and non-school-age boys and girls with psychosocial issues as well as criminal behavior and substance abuse.
Job Description
The task of the treatment secretary is to coordinate and plan care and treatment for children, youth, and clients, as well as to ensure that the work around the individual is carried out in accordance with SiS's standardized treatment and implementation planning processes.

- Anchor the treatment or implementation planning with the unit manager, group leader, treatment team, and staff in the department.
- Be responsible for evaluating care and treatment efforts together with the youth.
- Plan and lead the institution's treatment collegium, as well as guide treatment staff towards care and treatment goals in daily work.
- Coordinate, plan, and lead both internal and external coordination meetings, as well as collaborate with the individual's private and professional network.
- Coordinate the work of conducting needs assessments or investigations within the treatment team.

Relevant higher education such as a social worker or other behavioral science education that SiS considers equivalent and which includes at least 180 credits. You also need to have:
- Experience working in operations focused on care and treatment, such as social services or other relevant activities.
- Relevant knowledge of legislation, ethics, and approaches for the task.
- Good ability to express oneself in the Swedish language, both in writing and orally.
At SiS, we care about good employee relations. This means that you as an employee take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. Read more about our employee relations.
Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformations. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, are empathetic, and can create good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your composure even in stressful situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. In your role as a treatment secretary, you will have your own responsibility for several initiatives. You need to be able to plan and structure your work and be able to work independently and take your own initiatives. Since treatment work is documented and discussed with various actors, high demands are placed on good Swedish in both speech and writing.
You share our vision of being a place for change, and it permeates your approach, engagement, and attitude.
